If you want to contact the band, please ring them on the contact numbers given below. Alternatively,
visit them at www.myspace.com/jacksoncaged, go to
their Blog, and send them a message from the link there. [You'll need to be registered as a MySpace user,
and I don't know for certain whether they pick up their messages.]
Having formed early in 2006, Jackson Caged are a five-piece from Sheffield, with a
depth, richness and maturity of sound that anyone could be proud of (see our
review of their
astoundingly good demo CD).
We at SheffieldMusic.Com have got relatively limited information abouthe band available
at present, but it's already clear that it'll be largely down to their own decisions if they
don't end up making a significant impact on the scene. They're easily as good on disk (and in my
opinion, better than) the vast bulk of bands you see on the Satellite TV channels,
and have material to rival the best of them. I've yet to see the band play live, but
it's hard to see how they could possibly perform such hard and energetic tracks without
an equally dynamic stage presence. We'll add more information, as and when it becomes
available.
